We started the month in Mandal, Norway, where we stayed for 5 days having classes and some prayer moments with the other U-Crew interns. On July 2nd we went back to Stavanger and we spent 3 days with our friend Laudecir, who is taking his PhD there - we walked around the town with him. On July 4th we went to Mona's and house - she is the Norwegian pastor who celebrated our wedding, now married to Rasmus and with 2 little daughters. July 6th is Mateus' birthday and to celebrate it we went up Preikestolen, the pulpit rock, with our friend Leandro. It's a rough walk, but it's worth it, the view is amazing. Up there we had a snack with some things we had packed and then we went back down. When we arrived home, Mona and Rasmus prepared a special dinner for Mateus, also with a cake.
We stayed with the family until July 8th and then went visit some Brazilian friends, Leandro, Flavia and their little boy. They also bought a cake and we sang happy birthday to Mateus. On the other day Leandro took us to the airport so we flew back to Nantes.
Back from Norway we spent the weekend in Nantes and then we went to Lyon by train. We spent 3 days there having many meetings about the project proposal we received from the church in France to work with university students from 2017.
Back in Nantes we went with friends to see the fireworks on July 14th, which is the national day and celebrates the French revolutions. On the same day happened a horrible terrorist attack with a truck, that hit and killed many people in Nice, southeast of France.
On July 15th we run the service at the old people's house, and this time Mariana was responsible for the preaching. And on the Sunday 17th we went with pastor Caroline to Saint-Malo, north of Bretagne, to a big camp-gathering for teenagers and youth, called "Le Grand Kiff" (the great love, in youth language). It was a 15-day gathering in which we slept under a tent. But we could enjoy and walk a little around the city.
On July 30th we went back to Nantes and on the day after we traveled to Pari, in order to take our flight to Jakarta, in Indonesia.
