Na França é comum haver casais onde os cônjuges vêm de tradições cristãs diferentes (por exemplo um protestante, o outro católico), tanto que existe um associação (Associação francesa de lares mixtos interconfessionais cristãos) para colocar estas pessoas em contato. Na sua newsletter de maio de 2021 eles escreveram um pequeno artigo sobre a Maison d'Unité em Lyon.

A MAISON D'UNITE em LYON: Uma experiência ecumênica de vida comunitária para estudantes e jovens profissionais

Criada em Paris em 2013, a primeira MAISON DE L'UNITE abriu caminho para outras iniciativas ... Foi assim que começou a Maison de d'Unité de Lyon, em setembro de 2019, na casa de estudantes St Bernard (Universidade Católica de Lyon). Inicialmente, 4 alunos iniciaram essa experiência ecumênica de vida estudantil. No ano seguinte, seu número aumentou para 8 estudantes ou jovens profissionais, meninas e meninos, morando em 2 lugares, alguns na casa de estudantes no centro da cidade e outros em uma república em um apartamento pastoral temporariamente livre.

Lugares diferentes, mas sempre com a mesma vocação: reunir jovens de várias confissões cristãs, desejosos de seguir a Cristo e de ouvir o seu chamado para viver a unidade. Para isso, comprometeram-se a viver durante um ano a descoberta de outras Igrejas e a aprofundar o conhecimento da sua própria família cristã. Este ano (2020/2021) a “maison” acolhe: 1 católico, 1 anglicana, 2 menonitas, 2 jovens de uma assembleia de irmãos e 2 evangélicos.

Este projeto é o resultado dos esforços de uma equipe pastoral formada por um pastor anglicano (Ben Harding), dois pastores da EPUDF (Pierre Blanzat e Françoise Sternberger), um padre católico Assoncionista (Padre Arnaud Alibert) e a delegada episcopal para o ecumenismo (Marie-Jo Guichenuy). Dois pastores-missionários luteranos brasileiros, Mateus e Mariana, conduzem os encontros (no âmbito da missão JEEPP - Jovens, Estudantes e Profissionais Protestantes), auxiliados por outros palestrantes. Uma noite por semana, na quarta-feira, jovens e líderes se encontram para um tempo de oração, para aprofundar sua fé com o curso ALPHA e para conhecer mais sobre a igreja.

Para o ano 2021-2022, a experiência continua com outros jovens em outros lugares, uma vez que uma república será estabelecida em Ecully, nos subúrbios imediatos de Lyon, em um ambiente natural e outra república em um apartamento na área central da cidade, com o mesmo compartilhar de vida.

In France it is common to have couples where the spouses come from different Christian traditions (for example one Protestant, the other Catholic), so much so that there is an association (French Association of Christian Interconfessional Mixed Homes) to put these people in contact. In their May 2021 newsletter they wrote a short article about the Maison d'Unité in Lyon.

MAISON D'UNITE in LYON: An ecumenical experience of community life for Students and Young Professionals

Created in Paris in 2013, the first MAISON D'UNITE then paved the way for other initiatives ... This is how the Maison d'Unité in Lyon started in September 2019, at St Bernard student home (Catholic University of Lyon). Initially, 4 students started this ecumenical experience of student life. The following year, their number increased to 8 students or young professionals, girls and boys, living at 2 different places, some at Saint Bernard in the city center and others in shared accommodation in a temporarily free Protestant appartment.

Different places but always the same vocation: to bring together young people of various Christian confessions, eager to follow Christ and to listen to his call to live unity. For this, they committed themselves to living for a year the discovery of other Churches and to deepen their knowledge of their own Christian family. This year (2020/2021) the "maison" accommodates: 1 Catholic, 1 Anglican, 2 Mennonites, 2 young people from an assembly of brothers and 2 evangelicals.

This project is the result of the consultation of a pastoral team made up of an Anglican pastor (Ben Harding), two EPUDF pastors (Pierre Blanzat and Françoise Sternberger), an Assumptionist Catholic priest (Father Arnaud Alibert) and the episcopal delegate for ecumenism (Marie-Jo Guichenuy). A couple of Brazilian Lutheran missionary-pastors, Mateus and Mariana, lead the meetings (within the framework of Mission JEEPP - Protestant Students and Young Professionals), assisted by other speakers. One evening per week on Wednesdays, young people and leaders meet in conviviality and prayer, to deepen their faith with the ALPHA course and to know more about the church.

For the year 2021-2022, the experience continues with other young people in other places since the co-location will be lived in Ecully, in the immediate suburbs of Lyon, in a natural setting and also at an apartment at the city center, with the same shared life.
