UMA MISSÃO COMUM: ANUNCIAR JESUS ​

Mariana Erhardt e Mateus Pereira, na casa dos quarenta anos, são brasileiros. Ambos são protestantes, de origem luterana. Eles foram comissionados por várias igrejas em Lyon para liderar uma república ecumênica, composta por estudantes de diferentes universidades, incluindo a Universidade Católica de Lyon.

Nós tecemos nossos laços com outros cristãos da região de Lyon assim que chegamos a Lyon em 2017, participando da capelania da UCLY ”, explicam. Uma capelania então liderada pelo Padre Arnaud Alibert, Assuncionista (à direita na foto), e agora o Padre Bertrand Châtain, em conjunto com Marie-Jo Guichenuy (à esquerda na foto) encarregada do ecumenismo em nossa diocese. Eles viveram ali um curso Alpha, que também foi realizado em parceria com o pastor da Igreja Anglicana. Em 2018, em meio aos 150 jovens moradores da casa de estudantes, Mariana e Mateus formaram um grupo de uma dezena de alunos e jovens profissionais no modelo do que se vivia na Maison d'Unité em Paris. O princípio é simples: os jovens se comprometem a viver um ano na descoberta de outras Igrejas, mas também na redescoberta da própria família cristã. Este grupo ecumênico, que reúne católicos, luteranos, evangélicos, anglicanos, se reúne uma vez por semana, nas noites do curso "Alpha". Cada um, por sua vez, compartilha a história de sua Igreja, seu caminho de fé e dá testemunho de sua vida de oração. Alternadamente, cada um apresenta seu local de culto. “Somos encorajados a ver as nossas respectivas Igrejas de forma diferente, a descobrir que, apesar das nossas diferenças, partilhamos a mesma missão de anunciar Jesus. Podemos fazer isso juntos ”.

Esta proposta de engajamento ecumênico começou há 2 anos: todas as semanas uma conferência ou um encontro sobre o tema: "uma fé única em várias Igrejas"... Este é um projeto levado a cabo pelo Comitê de Líderes de Igrejas de Lyon e garantido pela Universidade Católica de Lyon, no modelo da Maison d'Unité de Paris. A experiência deste ano mostra também o interesse em procurar e encontrar outros apartamentos para uma vida comunitária mais intensa.

A COMMON MISSION: ANNOUNCING JESUS

​​Mariana Erhardt and Mateus Pereira, just in their forties, are originally from Brazil. Both are Protestants, of Lutheran origin. They were commissioned by several churches in Lyon to lead an ecumenical co-location, made up of students from different universities including the Catholic University of Lyon.

We have woven our links with other Christians in the Lyon area as soon as we arrived in Lyon in 2017 by participating in the UCLY chaplaincy”, they explain. A chaplaincy then led by Father Arnaud Alibert, Assumptionist (on the right in the photo), and now Father Bertrand Châtain, in conjunction with Marie-Jo Guichenuy (on the left in the photo) in charge of ecumenism in our diocese. They lived there an Alpha course, which was also conducted in partnership with the pastor of the Anglican Church. In 2018, in the midst of the 150 young residents at a student house, Mariana and Mateus formed a group of a dozen students and young professionals on the model of what was experienced in the Maison d'Unité in Paris. The principle is simple: The young people commit themselves to living for a year in the discovery of other Churches, but also in a rediscovery of their own Christian family. This ecumenical group, which brings together Catholics, Lutherans, Evangelicals, Anglicans, meets once a week, as part of the evenings of the Alpha course. Each, in turn, shares the history of their Church, their journey of faith and again bears witness to his life of prayer. Taking turns, each one presents their place of worship. “We are encouraged to see our respective churches differently, to discover that despite our differences, we share the same mission of proclaiming Jesus. This we can do together ”.

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR THE YEAR 2021-22

This proposal for ecumenical commitment started 2 years ago: every week a conference or a meeting on the theme: "a single faith in several Churches" ... This is a project carried by the Committee of Church leaders in Lyon and guaranteed by the Catholic University of Lyon, on the model of the Maison d'Unité in Paris.
