Relatório de atividades - Mission Jeepp 2020
Introdução
Não é possível deixar de falar sobre como a pandemia impactou o trabalho missionário em 2020. Para as atividades a principal mudança aconteceu com os dois encontros regulares que o Mission Jeepp tem durante a semana, os encontros tiveram que acontecer de forma on-line grande parte do ano, as permanências não podiam acontecer na igreja e o acompanhamento individual acontecia por telefone ou internet. Isso obviamente impediu a missão de alcançar mais pessoas quanto possível, mas por outro lado, as reuniões on-line permitiram aprofundar os estudos bíblicos e devocionais, principalmente com o Grupo A Plus. Para a Maison d'Unité, não foi possível ver a maioria dos participantes no final do primeiro semestre e no segundo semestre foi necessário mudar o local das reuniões para a Igreja Luterana, pois o número de pessoas cresceu e havia restrições estritas no local original de encontros (o lar de estudantes St Bernard).

A pandemia também causou o retorno prematuro dos estagiários do U-Crew ao Brasil, que não puderam cumprir seu período de 10 meses em Lyon, mas seguiram trabalhando com os missionários até o fim do mês de junho à distância.
Atividades
Com a pandemia, algumas adaptações foram feitas em nossas atividades, por exemplo, durante o primeiro confinamento, no primeiro semestre, houve um aumento no número de jovens solicitando uma espécie de leitura bíblica em grupo. A ideia foi desenvolvida e a atividade preparada durante o segundo semestre, a começar em janeiro de 2021 (La Bible pour les cools).

Os treinamentos para preparação e liderança para encontros semanais do grupo A Plus também tiveram que ser cancelados devido a restrições sanitárias. Além disso, as permanências na igreja luterana foram reduzidas de 2 para 1 dia por semana, à medida que os missionários se dedicavam mais ao acompanhamento individual dos jovens.
Uma nova atividade que será oferecida em 2021, mas que começou a ser preparada ainda em 2020, são encontros comuns para todos os grupos de adolescentes, que serão organizados pela Mission Jeepp com os líderes de grupos das diferentes paróquias.
Outro ponto a que os missionários tiveram que dedicar muito tempo e esforço ao longo do ano foi o desenvolvimento da relação entre a Mission Jeepp e as paróquias do consistório de Lyon, a fim de desenvolver a compreensão da sua apropriação como principal organização responsável para a continuação do trabalho missionário após a fase de implantação, dentro da parceria entre a Igreja Protestante Unida da França, a Sociedade Missionária Norueguesa e a Missão Zero. Assim, ao longo do ano, foram realizadas duas principais ações:
1. O dia Consistorial da Mission Jeepp (inicialmente previsto para abril), que se realizou no dia 17 de outubro, foi um encontro que acolheu membros das diversas paróquias de Lyon e do Conselho do Consistório e alguns dos jovens da Mission Jeepp, com o objetivo de apresentar um breve relato do que foi feito até o momento e principalmente apresentar a visão e o propósito do trabalho. Durante o dia, os participantes puderam discutir e compartilhar seus sonhos e esperança para o trabalho com jovens na igreja. Veja as partes mais importantes deste evento:

É muito importante mencionar que durante este tempo os missionários também se dedicam muito a acompanhar os jovens individualmente, em conversas por telefone ou Internet e pessoalmente quando possível, por causa de todas as angústias e solidão causadas durante a pandemia.
O acompanhamento também se deu em duas outras situações específicas: os missionários acompanharam um jovem que estava se preparando para o seu batismo (o que aconteceu em agosto de 2020) e um jovem casal que estava se preparando para o casamento (o casamento civil aconteceu em dezembro de 2019 e a cerimônia religiosa deveria ocorrer em maio de 2020, mas isso acontecerá em setembro de 2021).
Em relação ao número de participantes nas atividades da Mission Jeepp, apresentamos a tabela a seguir. Observe que algumas das informações importantes aqui são o número total de participantes e também os participantes regulares (é considerado participante regular alguém que compareceu a mais de 3 encontros durante o ano). O aumento do número de participantes regulares mostra que as iniciativas têm conquistado a atenção e fidelização do público.

Exemplos pontuais do trabalho desenvolvido pelos missionários
Apoio para o treinamento de novos pregadores
Ainda no final de 2019, os missionários motivaram alguns dos jovens profissionais que participam das atividades da Jeepp Mission a participarem do treinamento de pregação oferecido pelo consistório de Lyon, então 4 deles aceitaram a proposta. E então, em 2020, todos os 4 tiveram a oportunidade de pregar em diferentes cultos. É importante mencionar que todos os 4 pregaram em adoração pela primeira vez em suas vidas.
Comunicação
Ter um dos voluntários com habilidades em design gráfico e edição de vídeo ajudou muito a comunicação da Missão Jeepp durante o ano. Vários pôsteres (para impressão e Internet) e outros materiais foram produzidos. Com isso, foi possível desenvolver melhor a identidade visual da Jeepp Mission e também promover ações para estreitar os relacionamentos até agora construídos.

Mission Jeepp – Activities Report 2020
Introduction
It is not possible not to talk about how the pandemic impacted the missionary work in 2020. For the activities the main change was for the two regular gatherings Mission Jeepp has during the week, the gatherings had to happen online a great part of the year, the permanences could not happen in the church and the individual follow up happened by phone or internet. This obviously prevented the mission to reach out to more people as it could, but on the other hand the online gatherings permitted to go deeper in the Bible studies and devotionals, mostly for the Group A Plus. For the Maison d’Unité, it was not possible to see most of the participants at the end of the first semester and on the second semester it was necessary to change the place of the gatherings to the Lutheran Church, as the number grew bigger and there were strict restrictions at the original place (St Bernard Student Home).
The pandemic also caused the premature return of the U-Crew interns to Brazil.
Considering the financial aspect, and the difficult economic situation in Brazil, Missão Zero had to find a new partner for this project, as the exchange rate between Euro and Real became very unfavourable for the Brazilian side.
Activities
With the pandemic, some adaptations were made to our activities, for example, during the first confinement, in the first semester, there was an increase in the number of young people requesting a kind of group Bible reading. The idea was developed and the activity prepared during the second semester, starting in January 2021 (La Bible pour les cools).
Training for preparation and leadership for weekly meetings of the A Plus group also had to be canceled due to sanitary restrictions. In addition, the number of days spent in the Lutheran church was reduced from 2 to 1 day a week, as missionaries became more dedicated to the individual accompaniment of young people.
A new activity that will be offered in 2021, but which started to be prepared in 2020, are common meetings for all groups of teenagers, which will be organized by Mission Jeepp with the leaders of groups from different parishes.
Another point to which the missionaries had to devote a lot of time and effort throughout the year was the development of the relationship between Mission Jeepp and the parishes of the Lyon consistory, in order to develop an understanding of their appropriation as the main responsible organization for the continuation. of missionary work after the deployment phase, within the partnership between the United Protestant Church of France, the Norwegian Missionary Society and Mission Zero. Thus, during the year, two main actions were carried out:
1. The Mission Jeepp Consistorial Day (initially scheduled for April), which took place on 17 October, was a meeting that welcomed members of the various parishes in Lyon and the Consistory Council and some of the young people from Mission Jeepp, with the aim of presenting a brief account of what has been done so far and mainly to present the vision and purpose of the work. During the day, participants were able to discuss and share their dreams and hope for work with young people in the church. See the most important parts of this event:

It is very important to mention that during this time missionaries are also very dedicated to accompanying young people individually, in telephone or Internet conversations and in person when possible, because of all the anguish and loneliness caused during the pandemic.
The accompaniment also took place in two other specific situations: the missionaries accompanied a young man who was preparing for his baptism (which happened in August 2020) and a young couple who were preparing for marriage (the civil marriage took place in December 2019 and the religious ceremony should take place in May 2020, but this will happen in September 2021).
Regarding the number of participants in Mission Jeepp activities, we present the table below. Please note that some of the important information here is the total number of participants and also regular participants (a regular participant is someone who has attended more than 3 meetings during the year). The increase in the number of regular participants shows that the initiatives have won the public's attention and loyalty.

Punctual examples of the work carried out by the missionaries
Support for training new preachers
Still at the end of 2019, the missionaries motivated some of the young professionals who participate in the activities of the Jeepp Mission to participate in the preaching training offered by the Lyon consistory, so 4 of them accepted the proposal. And then, in 2020, all 4 had the opportunity to preach in different services. It is important to mention that all 4 preached in worship for the first time in their lives.
Communication
Having one of the volunteers with skills in graphic design and video editing helped the communication of the Jeepp Mission during the year. Various posters (for printing and the Internet) and other materials were produced. With this, it was possible to better develop the visual identity of the Jeepp Mission and also promote actions to strengthen the relationships built up to now.
